On Saturday June 7th the Corona Del Mar community will once again hold the Annual Scenic 5k Race and 2 mile Fun Walk and 1k Dolphin Dash. All 8th grade students and their mothers are invited to attend the Mothers Tea on Thursday March 27th. This event is to introduce the students and their parents to the PTA. Foundation,and the Navigators. Find out how to get involved. The tea will be held at Newport Harbor High in Portable #9 from 12:30-2:00PM.  

This year the Toshiba Classic will be held on March 3-9th. The Tournament is held at The Newport Beach Country Club. This is one of the most exciting golf tournaments in the Champions Tour. Proceeds from this tournament go to Hoag Hospital.

The Annual Balboa Island Art Walk will be held on Sunday May 18 from 9:00am-5:00pm

Starting January 15th thru March 1 you can apply to transfer your child to the Newport School district. You can find applications at the Education Center located at 2985 Bear st. #A  in Costa Mesa. Hours are from 7:30am-4:30pm. Monday-Friday.

Next month are the tryouts for the Junior lifeguard program for this summer. If you have a child that is going to be 9 or older by June 23rd, 2008 he or she is elegible to tryout. Be sure to sign them up for the training sessions. For more information go to the Junior lifeguard website.
