Market Update For Dover Shores Community In Newport Beach, Ca

The most recent market update for Dover Shores Community in Newport Beach is a bit optimistic! The 3rd quarter for 2011 is not quite done yet but it looks to have been an inprovement over last year. When I took a look at the homes that sold in the 3rd quarter in Dover Shores last year and compared to how many have sold today we are ahead by 3 more sold, and we have 7 in escrow.

The average price sold this year has been $1,468,676 versus last year $1,296,463. While the highest price sold last year for this quarter was $2,295,000 this year it was $3,260,000! I also looked at the entire year of 2010 compared to what we have sold this year so far and this year we are ahead by 10 homes. We still have the last quarter to look at.

I love selling real estate in the Dover Shores community , not only because I love the community but because it offers an opportunity for young folks that are wanting to move to Newport Beach to start their first home here.
