Newport Beach or Costa Mesa, where would you live? I have lived in Newport Beach for the past 27 years and I have loved  every minute of it. Now our kids have grown and starting to leave and it's time for us to size down. One of our choices would be East side Costa Mesa. It's so charming! and more affordable. There are certain streets that are more desirable like Flower, Magnolia, Costa Mesa, and my favorite Broadway.

East side Costa Mesa is just across the street from West Newport Beach, take a look at the difference in price.

This is the kind of home you will frequently see in this neighborhood! They are so cute!!!

While the median list price is $575,000 in East side Costa Mesa, in Newport Beach its $1,695,000.
