Dover Shores/WestCliff Area Real Estate Update

I have lived in the Dover Area for the past 25 years. You may wonder why I am still here when most people move every 5 years. Well I love it! Raising my 3 children in the Dover Shores area has been a wonderful experience and although we are almost ready to size down, whether or not to leave the Dover Shores area is a tough decision.

Dover, West-cliff and Baycrest are neighborhoods that were built in the 50's. There is so much charm it's difficult to find another neighborhood to compare. My first home I purchased was $250,000. That same home today in a down market is worth at least $1,000,000.

Yes 2008 was not a great year, but homes in Newport Beach are still a great investment.

Above is a picture of the Back Bay. You can walk here from most streets in the neighborhood.

I love many of these homes, but one of my favorites is a new listing on Sandalwood. I knew the builder of this home and he had great taste and the quality of his work was exceptional. It is a contemporary style home on a quiet street with a beautiful yard. It will be on Realtor Preview today so I will go and take pictures and share with you tomorrow.
