Taste of Newport 2008 Starts today! September 19,2008

Newport's premiere retaurants give you a taste, today through Sunday, in the streets at Fashion Island. This is an event you dont want to miss.

The Taste of Newport attracts more than 60,000 guests. Come  sample gourmet foods from more than 30 local restaurants, 15 wineries, cocktails, handcrafted beers, and  hear live bands perform throughout the event.

This year's entertainers include Third Eye Blind on Friday;  Styx on Saturday, and UB40 on Sunday.


Samples range from casual to fine dining restaurants.

Purchase tickets at the gate Friday and Saturday $25. 6 to 11 p.m. Friday; 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday, and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday. Newport Center Drive in Fashion Island. 949.729.4400
