Newport Beach Real Estate Update
I know we all hear negative comments from the media on real estate daily. Well, what they don't mention is that real estate goes in cycles, and we just happen to be on the down side. This is normal. I am very optimistic and although many are suffering from this decline, we need to look at the positive. First of all it will come back. And when it does, it will once again go sky high. It's happened over and over again. So it's your time to invest and plan for the future.
First time buyers this is your time to buy! You haven't seen deals like this in years. And no, you don't have to go for foreclosures and short sales. There are great deals out there everyday. Be sure to get a great lender and be pre-approved with a letter in hand when you go home shopping. If you see a home you have to have, be prepared! We are in multiple offers every day. Buyers are buying!!!
If you are sizing down, or moving up again it's a great time to buy. You don't want to buy when prices go up, buy now.
I specialize in the Newport area so here's a little recap on a few neighborhoods. Following is the average price sold this year so far.

Lido Island $2,946,000
Balboa Peninsula $1,772,500
Newport Shores $1,190,000
