About Lido Island
If you are looking for a Luxury Home in Newport Beach, be sure to take a look at Lido Island. Lido Island was built in the 1920's. Presently you will find about 850 homes, many of Mediterranean Architecture. You will also notice all the streets have Italian names. Lido island was named after the famous Lido Resort.
Lido attracts many because of the prime location of the waterfront homes. Many residents own some type of water vessel, from a kayak to the most extravagant yachts. There are not many locations in Newport where you can have your own dock, but you can on Lido. Other perks to living on the island is the yacht club, the tennis courts, and if your budget doesn't work with a waterfront home then look into some of the interior streets with "stradas" (interior sidewalks) they are so cute!
Walk to Lido Marina Village and find yourself with a selection of shops, restaurants and cafés, boutiques, and art galleries. You are also within a short walk or bike ride away to the ocean.
Lido offers something for everyone. It's a very friendly community. If you have children it's a great place for them to grow up.
