Costa Mesa is a town between Newport Beach and Huntington Beach.. It is the home for Orange Coast College, the Orange County Fair Grounds, and South Coast Plaza. It also houses the Performing Art Center and Repertory Theater.
Costa Mesa is part of the Newport Mesa School District, which has recently received a bond for almost $400 million to renovated most of their schools, This community backs a good education for its children. Overall crime is low. The median age is 32 with 27% of them under 21. More homes are used by renters than owners.
Costa Mesa was built for the middle class. But more often we are seeing higher prices in the this town. You will find alleys behind homes and utility lines overhead in this charming and quaint neighborhood. You will also notice that families will use Eastside Costa Mesa as a stepping stone before making the move across the street to Newport Beach.
In the South Coast Metro Area you will find high rise office buildings, the performing art center, movies theaters, upscale restaurants, and the world famous South Coast Plaza. Costa Mesa is also close by to John Wayne Airport.
